I have a friend that put them in two race cars and drove thousands of HARD miles in them, and said they were very comfortable. '53 Stude in the 2,000 mile La Carrera Panamericana road race (which is brutal Mexican roads), and a '65 Mustang for the Targa Newfoundland.
I have a pair for my '57 Gasser, but don't have any seat time in them yet.

These Rugged Ridge low back buckets, also from Summit, are $148, and look a little more factory.

I'll be getting one or the other, and using an LMC center console with cup holders. Not the really expensive repro console with chrome trim, the plain one.

Low back buckets with a plain black console will look right in my factory K10.

I like both of the seats you posted. I seen a 65' C10 with seat just like the second set and he mounted a impala ss console with the impala shifter in between them. I need seating for three though that's why I kept my stock bench..

Currently my 64 does not have a seat. Has anybody gone from the factory seat to a early 90's era full bench truck seat? What was the ride quality and seat height like compared between the two? I've read on here to cut down the 90's base to get the seat closer to the floor board. I'm assuming this is out of a early 90's truck?

What about the seats with the built in seat belts regarding ride height wise between them and the factory seat? Do they need to have some of the base cut out as well to get the seat lower to the floor board?

the 90's seat that you have is the same one that i am running in my truck and love it. first i tried the 2000's seat but they are to big and bulky for my height and i seen on here were someone had used the 90 seat. i am 6'1" and the height of the seat is perfect and is far enuff from the steering that i am able to still use a factory steering wheel. i also put one in my 16yr olds truck that i built him and now a buddy of mine is running one in his after seeing ours and riding in them.

Had to drill 2 new holes for the rear, the front lines up with the factory holes, I didn't cut the base

Do these seats have sliders for adjust-ability? I will be relocating the gas tank but plan for a little audio storage behind the seat.
