Opinions on buying a very rusty 70 c10 short box
Just looking for opinions on buying a 70 swb c10. The seller only wants a grand but the truck is VERY rusty. The box and cab are basically worthless but the frame seems to be in decent shape. My question is... It's it worth the buy just for the frame and find a new box and cab? Or should I just look for a truck in good shape and pay the money... thanks in advance.

A grand needs more redeeming qualities than just a SWB frame in my opinion.

I agree, especially on a 70 as you will have added cost if you want to convert to disc and 5-lug.
Good luck, Rg

Not enough info.
If it's a factory big block CST with a SPID full of options, sure, I'd buy that. Just a plain jane, probably not. |

I would say $1k is a bit much if that's all you're getting.

Imo the price should be lower , but get it so im not the only one redoing a rust bucket shotrbed. Lol. My bed is mostly crap (stepside fenders are toast) & also cab swapping.) Beauty is in the eye of the beholder & i must have been 1/2 blind the day i picked up my 71 stepside! Lol.
