Van Tilt Installation
Purchased a van tilt from one of our board members, ROD. Thanks ROD for the fast shipment.
Anyways, now I'm trying to get it installed. Is there a good way to remove the rubbers and flange that bolts to the firewall and reinstall on the new tilt? I have seen some discussions regarding this installation, but they never address the rubber installation. I saw an article which showed bending the shifter arm down to let the rubbers slide over, but I'm a little worried that I'll just end up buggering up the unit. I could cutt off the arm, and then reweld after installation of the rubbers. Is there a better way? Rick |

i always bend the arm down then, make sure all the rubber is on correctly then bend it back straight.
if you break it THEN weld it back on.. good luck jamie
