Swap able part list
Hello I have hope for a part list that I could use or we could save. I saw a suburban in the yunk yard (89) and was wondering if I could use its suspension part that are drop aftermarket. My question is what year is the cut off year that I could use. My truck is a 78 c10 swb 350 at. I have been looking with no luck I found a list for 60-66 c10

Re: Swap able part list
drop aftermarket? you mean lowering parts...it depends on what the suburban has....there are to different type of spindles one for 1" brake rotors and one for 1.25" brake rotors....but lowering springs will work but cant say bout the rear until you knw

Yes lower parts I know the there's is 1-11/4 rotor. But you could swap over the ball joint may be tie end rod not sure. But in60-66 c10 list part so am guessing.how about the rear. Could you upgrade up in year for those 90 models

Re: Swap able part list
If I'm not mistaken the suburban uses 1.25" rotors so it should be the correct spindle for your truck. the rear end is a also a bolt on swap.

Re: Swap able part list
pretty much anything same body style will work but some parts are set years like steering boxes. The rear end should be the right width but i think the spring pads widths are different from truck to suburban so unless you can weld pass on it.

Re: Swap able part list
The rear ends are the same. Pulled one out from under a '90 model Suburban and bolted right up to my '86 step side.
