Re: Nv4500 identification and conversion help needed
Check this out. This is my swap. It show where I had to notch the NV4500 and the spacer that was used. I gave all part numbers also. The only difference being that you are using the newer style bellhousing

Re: Nv4500 identification and conversion help needed
Thanks for the link i actually stumbled across your thread while looking around for info then forgot to bookmark it. what fluid do i run in the 205? I read its good to run the nv4500 fluid in it as well. I think ill have to run the spacer to be the same length. Im still unsure what im going to do about the bellhousing i may just lift the front of my truck with a zero rate and some new springs and see if theres enough clearance to run the nv4500 bellhousing. But then i would have to fabricate a clutch master setup for my pedals.

Re: Nv4500 identification and conversion help needed
I did alot of research about what oils a person could safely run. Everyone agrees that stock GM or Mopar oil is best. But Amsoil and Redline both make an oil specifically formulated for to run in the NV4500. I chose the Amsoil MTG because it was more readily available for me and seemed that more people were using it. I haven't had any problems. Fill it one quart over full through the shift tower. It helps lubricating areas that were known for being starved for oil.

Re: Nv4500 identification and conversion help needed
I have an AA spacer to use the long input gear on the 205 to mate to the 4500 if you want it. If so, PM me. I've been gathering parts for the same swap for years...
