Help finding my old truck

I know its cliche but I never should've sold it. I built this truck with my Dad and made so many memories doing so. Hoping to buy it back if I could ever find it. I sold to a guy in Houston in 2010 who has since sold it. I've searched the Houston area craigslist for a couple years now hoping it would pop up to no avail. Hoping maybe someone on here has seen it or owns it. Below is how it looked when I sold it in 2010. Please PM if you have it or know who does. Thanks.

If you have any old documents that have the vin number, you might be able to do a search on the internet. Like carfax, maybe?

You're right, you never should have sold it. I regret every vehicle I sell and they don't have anywhere near that much work done to them. I love the dash. I hope you get lucky and can find it.

Honestly it's not the work it's the memories that are attached. My dad bought the truck in 1990 then gave it to me when I was in high school in 2001. It became a father son project and therapy. We spent so much time together talking about life while working on it. I didn't realize how much that would mean to me until I had sons of my own. I would take it back even if it was totaled.

Re: Help finding my old truck

With the amount of custom work done on this truck, I would think you'll be able to find it. I'm sure it's a show truck, so keep an eye on the "big" truck shows, truck magazines show coverage and clubs. The vin number would be great to track it down, but this is NO Ordinary Truck. Good Luck!

P.S. I sold my 68 Camaro RS/SS this year. My Uncle bought it brand new, I remember seeing it as a kid. I bought it from him in 1989. Had it till 2001, sold it to a Camaro Crazy friend of mine. He restored the interior and took care of it. I bought it back in 2011, but then moved to a location without a garage. Keep the car at a friends shop for 2 years.... Finally got it home with me here. Mounting bills and debt, sold it to a nice man and haven't seen it since..........

REGRET EVERYDAY

Cool. It says it's had 69 offers on it. Price must be firm

Or is that the ad from when you sold it initially?

Re: Help finding my old truck

If you have the VIN you can do a used vehicle information package on it and it will show you who the current owner - At least this is how it is in Ontario...not sure how much longer that will work with privacy laws.

I was able to track down my old mans truck this way with his old drivers license.
