Not bugging. Thats what this site is for brother ... mine is a 16 inch ... and most mount to the top of trans but the floor mount like mine are much more easy to install as my trans was already in the truck . And i didn't want to pull it just to put in a shifter lol it is also important for me to note to you that the shifter when bought does not come with the shifter boot that's extra you have to buy that separate

I have one in my 66 and has been in it about three years and not a lick of trouble. Mine is trans mounted and 16" also.

Yeah they are good shifters my only issue with them is i wish they had a lock out for each gear so you can bang gears better and not push into N so easy lol but other than that i love it

Re: 66 floor shifter

The Ididit retro fit tilt steering colum just so you know i have found for right around $400 ... and it is something you should do anyway with or without shifter because by doing so you change the steering shaft to a colaspable one making the trucks safer for us ...our trucks stock colums are a 1 piece solid shaft and when taken a bad enough crash have been very comon to ram the shaft into the driver like a spear ... i still need to do this my self too but I highly recommend it for your safety just to let you know
