Where is your Electric Choke + wire connected at?

My dad's mechanic wired my + Electric Choke lead to the windshield wiper motor. I THINK it's probably wrong, so where is yours wired?

Another alternative is to have it wired to an energized source or a pressure switch so only when the motor is running, the choke is in operation. This helps if the enginen in not immediatly started and the ignition is on in which case the choke will come off even when the engine is cold.

The oil pressure switch is really needed in this circuit!
If you don't have it.......the choke heater will run all the time.
The switch is only $6 at the Chevy place and screws into either the side of the block above the oil filter or on the little tee beside your distribitor.
I have a new one I have to install as soon as the sun comes up..........mine quit after 20 years and now my choke will not go off.
