To the OP, Guyz55: I didn't mean to hijack your thread by posting my pics, sorry!

Another cheap option I should have mentioned which is one I considered back in the day before I bought a welder, etc is a bolt in cover held in place by the four hood hinge bolts. No Limit Engineering used to make a fiberglass one and I know of one guy that made his own from polished aluminum. Hope this helps.

PS: Just checked, it's no longer on their website but I'd call them to see if they still have some on their shelves or will make you one.
