Re: 250 4 barrel throttle

I used the lokar pedal and cable system.

Numbers
Pedal: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-bag-6149

Cable: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-tc-1000u

Carb Mount: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/lok-srk-4000

Just get yourself a good napa tubing bender and a piece of fuel line to practice on. I never did it before either, not as bad as it seems.

Re: 250 4 barrel throttle

I first ran across a throttle cable in a 65 Ford P/U. I think they also used them in later years in both cars and trucks. You might keep quite a few dollars in your pocket by cruising the junkyards for a complete setup.

If you don't wanna use F%%D parts I believe you can use a 70's chevy throttle pedal and cable as well. If I remember right, Ta2Don did that with his build.

Re: 250 4 barrel throttle

I used the original bell crank mounted sideways on a bracket that mounts to the 2 rear studs on the Edelbrock 4bbl carb. Works nice and smooth for me.
