******* Insurance Companies!!

Well....after we sent the Insurnace Company a letter demanding more money for the damages cuased by the girl who Rear-end my truck. They refused to pay more. We said we would tke further action by taking them to court. But....they called our bluff. We cant with our Current Money situtation. I do think if we did...we would win the case but not win if we ask for them to pay for the court fees. For a Judge to decided it will cost us 2000. and we may not even win. So...we are gonig to take they orginial offer foor 1100 o fix the truck...and I have saved a lil as well to help fix it to. So...it may not all be fixed as soon as i hope...but it will be with some time. Just kinda pissed right now lol. It really suks to be sleeping and get rear-end to only have there insurance compay offer 1100 on a trukc thats worth 5500. and the fact she ran away suked even more. Along with a Poclic officeer who didnt do his job right didnt help us either. So...were taking the 1100 with much regreat. But our new shop is getting build as we speak...and thats where we'll park the truck from now on. No more will it be parked on the side of the road with a big ass Busseye on it lol. Still debating on weather we wanan do the body work our selfs to save on Labor costs but i dunno yet. But sooner or later yall will be seeing a fixed truck I hope lol. ttyl.

$1100.00 seems very low. Give us a run-down on what's included in the estimate from the ins co. Break it down in parts costs, labor, & materials.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

thats nuts!!!! I had haildamage on my truck before I fixed it up and the insurance company gave me $1400 to fix the dents in the roof, hood and one fender. That is Canadain money though,... still that's not much. too bad you couldn't go to court. I'm sure you would have won since it was a hit and run.

wow when my wife got rear-ended in her 95 Pathfinder (driverside corner panel, tail light and slight door straightening) and the other guy was driving a land rover. His insurance company (Geico) paid us $4000 for this, we got it fixed for $3100, this is how i got my 76 GMC (for $1500)

Yea Man HAHA!!! Sorry if my typing was a lil bad hehe. I was a lil peeved at teh moment lol. But yea...I have the money myself to go to court...But i havent sdecided wat to do yet. I think we can win and that the jury would award me with paid court fees as well. Or...they will settle out of court before we go....I think they beleive we wont go to court...so they didnt come back with another offer...so I think if we can get a date set up and sue them...there game might change a lil. I dunno...going ot ahve to sleep a lil no it u kno.
