Boyd's rear tank. Need a hitch
Who has ran a similar setup?
The tank mounts to the inside rails and wondering if I am going to run into and issue with all I am seeing with how hitches mount. Hidden hitch has a better mount from pics but can't run it with bumper setup. Need a below bumper setup. Anyone have pics of similar rear tank and hitch. Thanks |

Give it time... It hasn't even been 24 hours.

Re: Boyd's rear tank. Need a hitch
I used a boyds tank with the cpp hidden hitch. It all fits. I did put my tank between the frame rails. I will post a pic later.

Re: Boyd's rear tank. Need a hitch
I have looked at this several times but due to the bumper I am using I can't use a hidden hitch. However, the hidden hitch bolts the way I need one to work.

Re: Boyd's rear tank. Need a hitch
Next time I have it unwrapped I will take pics. It's a shaved bumper. No bolts shown and a shorter molded in tag area. I had it powdercoated as well. Wish I could recall who makes it. But it also moves the bumper in closer so you do not need the rock guards on the bumper brackets

Re: Boyd's rear tank. Need a hitch
My boyd tank is sandwiched between my hitch and the bottom of the frame. I have a regular hitch with the center section rotated so that its upside down and goes through my license plate on my sport bumper. I'm sure I could flip the center section and have the hitch below the bumper.
