Tires
Got my truck on the road and don't think I can handle these tires. They are Goodyear Wrangler, rough mud like tread, 31 11.50/ 15's. One thing, I need a shorter tire, 3.08 gears, and something that doesn't make so much road noise. These tires are in really nice shape, hate to take them off, but I can't take the noise. What would be a good size to go with? I'd hate to go down to a 235/75, but everything else I found is only a inch shorter.

I run BFG AT's year round up and down the interstate and I don't hear a thing. Our Jeep with BFG's feels almost as smooth as my Caddys. In the winter it rolls through snow like it isn't even there. My K20 won many mud bog trophies on BFG AT's. I will never have the courage to try another brand and gamble $6-800.

My BFG A/t are noisy. DEpends a lot on your truck style how noisy they can be.

I love/hate my BFG Tires. They look great and are quiet, but for some reason I have a lot of issues with keeping them balanced and also they like to slow leak. Been to several different shops for having them balance, maybe its just a bad tire in there.

Hi there to be safe. what size are your rims 15"x6, 15"x7,1 5"x8 or 16"
go on line to your tire brand you like see what that tire says min rim with should be size tire you looking at.

On my 1988 Suburban 4x4, I run the older AT/2 Model, but I've found these to be a decent tire at a cheap price. http://mastercrafttires.com/Tires/Li...urser-AXT.aspx 50,000 mile warranty.
Not the best tire, nor is it for everyone, but OK for me to run around town on, play in the snow/mud and run the kid to school. Now on my Ford Excursion, I only run Michenlin LTX M/S2 since I'm towing, running highway speeds (+) and have the added weight of a 7.3 under the hood and they have a 70k warranty. Enjoy,, |

I run a set of those mastercraft tires just like that on a 05 gmc for 4 years and then swapped them to a 07 chev I bought and run them for 2 more.
