Does anyone know how to decode these numbers on the side of my transmission?

Re: 4L60E question

Looks like the 4L65E has a bolt hole in the center on the bellhousing. If that is correct, I'm right now, .

Re: 4L60E question

So are the "bell housings" (T C housing) interchangeable ?

Re: 4L60E question

Very familiar with the CHD broadcast code......It's a 4L60E from behind a 4.8L/5.3L in a 1500 truck/SUV.

According to my real world testing, The 4L65E is NOT stronger than a 4L60E.

Re: 4L60E question

While we are decoding transmissions - I have access to a 4SDD - 04 GM reman 4L60e? All the info I can find on it goes back to a 4.2L trailblazer; will this work behind a 5.3 LS in our trucks?
