Interior trim color help, please.
My 1977 C30 underwent a color change by the previous owner. I'm trying to add speakers in the kick panels but the blue trim paint I ordered from LMC isn't dark enough to match and has a matte finish. I contacted PO and he thinks (but isn't sure) they pulled a paint code and used that to come up with the color. Does this look like a factory color to you? Do you know the paint code for it? Thanks.

If you don't get the answer your looking for, which I hope someone can help you, this is an option:

Re: Interior trim color help, please.
Take the truck to any good paint supply shop and they can color match via a tool used to do just that.
After they take the picture, they will cross reference it to the closest possible color based on a manufacture. But remember, some times, a perfect match may require you to go with a more expense paint, but there are even ways around that if the guy is any good at his trade. Enjoy, |

Yep,
I've learned you can never get the three things of "Quick, Cheap and Fast" together at the sametime. Only two of the three, pick any two. I had the same problem on my 1988 Suburban, decided just to re-dye every piece instead, so I got none of the three above ;-) Good Luck, |
