LS computer in earlier model with anti-lock brakes?
Seriously consindering an LS swap into my 93 Suburban. It has all the options including anti-lock brakes. I 'assume" they are controlled by the existing computer. If so I also assume that creates a problem with a newer LS computer?

I dont think the pcm has anything to do with the brakes. That would be your bcm or maybe even a separate controller just for abs.

ABS module runs the ABS no? You can just pull the fuse to disable it, so I don't think the ECM in either vehicle is involved (or if it is, then its just supplying a voltage or ground. There is no control logic for it).;

Thats what I think. There is an independent abs controller. pcm is just what it says- powertrain control module.

Not sure, this is the huge Kelsey Hayes model on the inner fender well. I need to take a closer look at the wiring but I am beginning to think they are not connected after all.
