late 80 jag rear end?

o.k. I know I have seen somewhere on here someone had installed a jaguar irs in there truck. found one today, my question is does anyone know who had this setup? had just a few questions on the mods they had to do. the guy said 300, shoot yeah for 300, cheaper than getting a full switch out of rear drums to discs. yes I also know that I have posted on rear ends last night, but this is different.

for what you'd pay to fabrication and modifcation of the jag rear and you end up with alot weaker suspension i think you'd be alot better off spending the $2000 for a currie 9" all set up with discs and posi BULLETPROOF

What is the general consensus on Corvette IRS? I have pics from an ebay auction where a person put a corvette rear suspension clip into an early 80's chevy truck, seems like an awesome thing to do if (like me) you like tearing up the corners in your truck...
