Re: Best Under Bed Fuel Tank Conversion.
Well you should not have to blend bedliner if you get a fuel door. Here is a pic of how the 2002 camaro tank sits in mine.

I've also got rear leaf springs to contend with, too.

Re: Best Under Bed Fuel Tank Conversion.
I didn’t know what the shipping would be so I ordered everything from amazon. Tank, sending unit and straps. I cut out the rear cross member and spare tire bracket and the tank fits perfect between frame rails. I haven’t gotten any further with it like seeing how the behind the plate filler will work. I have a little different situation since I have a body lift and custom rear bumper.

Re: Best Under Bed Fuel Tank Conversion.
I would too you guys. I ordered the '72 Blazer tank that's made by Tri-plus I think. Seems to be made fairly well. It's a 21 gal and has the filler neck on the side. That makes it a little easier to work with a step side bed, maybe. We are going to do the fill neck behind the running light socket deal.
The downside is that it doesn't have a big enough hole in it for a fuel injection pump assembly, nor a baffle. We bought the Holley retro fit pump assembly to work with our system. Hopefully it works out. |

Do you have a photo to share of how long that Caprice tank hangs?
