Rattle Can Recommendations
Looking for recommendations (color/gloss match and longevity) for spray paint for rally wheels and the back bumper/tailgate fill pan. I would like to stick to something that doesn't need a clear topcoat so touchups are easy. Any input is appreciated.

Re: Rattle Can Recommendations
I would recommend using the Eastwood Rally Wheel Paint. I used it for my wheels and rear license plate bracket that is attached to the bumper/light

Thanks. Those look really nice. Did you go with a clear top coat?

Re: Rattle Can Recommendations
Yes, I took the site recommendation for the extra protection with the clear coat they offer. The reason, I drive this Suburban 60-75 miles everyday (when it's not raining or snowing) as my daily driver 5 days a week and wanted the extra protection because of it.
It's been about 9 months, and they still look just like they do in the pictures, though they do get cleaned at least once a week as to not allow the brake dust time to stain or break down the paint/clear. The color is spot-on and looks better than any silver from the auto stores. I also went with the cheap plastic center-cap repo's and stainless trim rings. Some day I hope to have the original's restored, but it's not cheap to do so... Enjoy, |

Thanks. I'll probably go that route for the pan first and see where I go from there. I've got the plastic centers, too. I eventually want to go to Western Hurricanes.
