67 c10 with new owner
Hello out there, I'm a proud new owner of a 67 c10 swb. I've wanted this body style for a long time. After selling my 65 c10 it made me want one even more. Now that I have 3 kids I decided it was time to find a new 67 truck for the family.
So about the truck, it seems to be in pretty good shape for its age. I've found a few problem areas after going over the thing from front to back. Only major issue is a bend in the frame. (trying to find a shop to fix that) other than the bent frame no complaints. Doors are straight hardly any rust any where but cross members in the rear. It's got a 350 with aluminum heads, 700r4 tranny, and you12 bolt rear. Pretty solid in the drivetrain. My plans with this truck are to, fix the major issues like frame, few rust areas, and then drive it. I don't want to do anything major to it at the moment. Just to keep it going so when my kids are old enough we can start restoring the truck back to its original paint and hopefully find a 327 along the way that we can build. TEACHING MY KIDS is what I'm looking forward to with this project. And the Sunday cruise down a back road with the wife. |

Welcome to the forum! Good choice in model year. Nice truck to make family memories with. Good luck with the tinkering.
