Awesome Trevor, that would be fantastic. I've also asked BlueBullet to measure his Longhorn. I will go back and triple check the measurement of mine as well.

Hmmm.. That's a good point. I will pull a thickness measurement on my frame rail ASAP. The only thing that has me confused is JFCs measurements on this K10 frame (which is what the cross member is designed for and advertised to fit). His measurements are the same as mine on the C30.

My measurements were takin inside the frame rail just in front of the stock cross member . On a k10 the frame has to be the same in that area or you wouldn't be able to slide it forward for the 6 cylinder location. Hope this helps.

Right.. I think the frame should be the same height spanning the distance in between the lines below.

That measurement on mine is 5-1/8" on both sides. I measured right in front of engine cross member.

So here's my solution for those interested. Kert offered to make me some shorter parts to fit my frame, but that costs $$$, I also could've had it cnc milled locally, but that also costs $$$.

Here it is as received from DIY4X


I went to the shop and picked out my thickest chop saw blade


And sliced the pieces in half,


Here's my height after the cut, just about perfect.


Now ill grind away some of that nice powdercoat, cut a V groove, square it up, and burn it back together with the Lincoln

Perfect!! That was going to be my suggestion if it came to it.

I will clamp them in place inside the frame and tack it together in a few places before I weld them up completely. That way it will guarantee a perfect fit.
