3 part post

My 65 had no door shaft gaskets, ordered some. each shaft gets a cardboard and a foam gasket. Question is, both outside the panel, both inside, one inside one outside?

Going to get my Dana44 evaluated soon. Gear shop has already told me there are some parts they can no longer get. I'm looking for links to try and find what they can't.

Same for TH700R4. Looking for parts links.

I don't know what a door shaft gasket is?
Do you have access to the internet for the 700R4 parts?

He is talking about the shaft that the inside door handle and widow crank attach to.

I put them both on the knob side of the door. With the cardboard closest to the handles. But that was based on my best guess.

Become a supporting member and once you have the 44 apart you can post a wanted ad in the forsale section. There are many folks here with large stashes of parts to get you going. Lots of places to get 700 kits and hard parts, Summit, jegs, monster, american powertrain and many others. Both stock and performance kits. For the TV cable setup bowtie overdrives kit really works good.

If you look at the banner under lots of the names here you will see premium member or one of the other levels of support. Here is a link to the levels and what you can do with that level. Being able to post wanted ads in the the forsale section is one of them.
