hood adjustment on 55 2

Hi all what is the fix for hood that stays up in one corner when closed and have to push it down to close properly? Thanks Denis

You need to place a shim under the upper hinge to cab bolts. This rotates the pivot point a bit to allow spring to work properly. Usually an 1/8" shim will do it.

You put a shim between the hinge and the hood at the front hinge bolt. OR you simply loosen the bolts on the hinge and push the hood open rotating the hinge back and tighten the bolts. You may then need to move the hood forward on the hinge.
