Anyone Cut up a Double wall top before?

Really want to make one of these... I read in another thread this started as a double wall... Been looking for a not so great single wall for a while now with no luck. So figured id look into going down this road since i have 2 double wall tops... It looks like the roll bar provides most of the support... but if anyone has any more info or has cut up a double wall and has pic of what i should expect when i start this let me know
Thanks

I'll trade my double wall for a suburban roof, drip rails up and top of the windshield frame...

If there's a will there's a way. I wonder if anyone has made a full metal hardtop on a K5...

I saw that idea too and liked it and thought of doing it. I gave up and just bought a soft topper and just roll up the sides and back..lol

I made a bikini top out of aluminum, but with a full cage it would be easy to do a full top
