Emblem Help
On the passengers side of my 71 CST Blazer fender there's another set of holes under where the K/5_Blazer emblem goes...? I know the 8-350 goes under the side marker light and the CST goes on the door but what is or was under the fender emblem?
I've seen other pics of Blazer's with something there but can't find any that are clear enough to tell anything from...anybody have some? One other question...who sells the lower body trim for our Blazer's? I'm looking for a complete kit in black. |

its 4wheel drive but that is only on 69/70 so if you have the holes on both fenders 1 of 2 things someone has replaced the fenders with 70 fenders or you have an late 70/early 71 that might of had them. I have both a 70 and 71 blazer so those are the differences

In 71 the "8 350" emblem went under the side marker and there was no "4 wheel drive" emblem.
In 70 if you ordered a 350 engine in your blazer the "8 350" emblem went under the "K-5 Blazer" emblem. And the "4 wheel drive always went under the side marker. I am leaving off the "8 350" emblem on my blazer because I think it was overkill- also my blazer was originally a 307, and got a 350 when the engine was replaced. Hope that all makes sense. Diane |

Thanks, it does make sense.
It's only the passenger's side that has the extra holes...maybe a dealer tag? Being mines definitely a 71 and has all the original sheet metal and those are the only "extra" holes, your explanation sounds right. |
