Re: 1959 duel master cylinder with power booster
I'm running a muncie 4 speed trans. I moved my master cylinder / booster under the bed behind the cab. The bed floor is raised 4 1/2".

Re: 1959 duel master cylinder with power booster
I replaced the stock single chamber MC on my 1959 with a dual chamber model with no booster. (Filled with DOT 4 and added the 2 in-line pressure differential valves too.) I kept my drum brakes on all 4 corners. With properly adjusted drums, the pedal is high, the response immediate, and the pedal effort not bad at all.
I read an article about old hot rod guys drilling their drums for additional cooling. I had mine done. Not sure if I notice a difference, but several times now I have driven it loaded down a 10,000’ mountain pass w/o issue. -Steve

Did you need the pressure differential valves? Can I use Dot 3? I didn't finish yet. Ran out of time and worked overtime all week. I have to finish on Saturday I have to adjust the play in the linkage and Bleed and check for leaks.
