Size difference between a 1/2 ton and 3 ton?

Hey guys, I am just gonna assume that I am asking a foolish question here, but are the cab / front end on a 1/2 ton the same as a 3 ton as far as a rust free 63 3 ton GMC is concerned? I've never seen one in person, so I wouldn't know, but it certainly looks the same...

If so, anyone interested in it? The truck runs (needs some brake fluid and some body damage to repair), and is all there. It has a running 292 I-6 with a 8 speed (4 speed hi / lo) has a tilting wooden bed (not sure if the PTO works or not...)
