Finally got it!!
So while taking my 57 back down to bare metal because of some shoddy bodywork by previous guy I finally got my dream motor. Its a 383 stroker with Borla EFI stack injection run by a Holley Dominator EFI engine management setup. Everyone was telling me to go LS but I wanted to open the hood and it look old school still. Super excited!!!

Re: Finally got it!!
That is sweet, good to see. Personally I’m kinda burnt out on the LS swaps, not really impressive. But that BPE 383 is a sweet little gem. I’d like to see a BPE 400 in my future.
What the Dyno sheet look like? You got the share it!

Oh hell yeah! Think you are making a good choice with a good looking and working motor.

Re: Finally got it!!
That is nice. Truck is starting to look great too. Now we can all say,Oh yea, I saw that in bare metal when he posted about his engine, when the finished truck becomes famous an shows up in a magazine.
