Turbo 400 kickdown and LS Motor
I have a new rebuilt turbo 400 with a good street/strip stall installed that I have bolted up to a completely rebuilt 5.3 LS and I am trying to figure out a way to get the kick down to work for the Turbo 400 on the LS. Anyone done this? Any suggestions? Thanks,

Re: Turbo 400 kickdown and LS Motor
factory 73-87 trucks had the kickdown switch on the gas pedal under the dash .
we would need a LOT more info on your specific combo of engine / dbc or dbw throttle / vehicle its going in to provide any more help .

72's had the switch on the pedal too, but like the other post said, we need to know what you're putting this in. I just took a pedal with switch out of my truck to replace it with a DBW pedal so I have one for sale if you're building a '72.

Holler at a dude on here called "Willie Make It" he's over in Alabama. He fabbed up a TB for an older style trans. I bought it from him a while back along with a Lokar cable to use with my 4.8/th350. Fit like a glove.

400 turbos dont use a kick down cable, they're electrically operated.

My bad. I thought all those older style trans were mechanical.
