Cool Driver door will not open

OK, back on this truck build after a lot of bs, long story...check previous thread for back story.
The drivers door was like new and now has pry marks all along the edges a huge dent! There I go getting p/o again meditation may be in order.
The interior lock does lift but the interior door handle will not open door nor will the exterior door handle and the little black push button on the exterior door handle has no resistance to it. The window can now be pulled down by hand. Can't access any bolts and I don't really want to take my recip saw to cut anything I do have an extra door.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated!

Re: Driver door will not open

Sounds like the rod came off, inside the door. It’s going to hard, but the only thing I can think of at the moment, is try taking your door panel off from inside the cab. The window will need to go back up, because the rod to the handle, will be between the glass and the handle. Then you can either function the rod with your hand to open the door latch. If the rod has completely fallen off, from the latch & handle, then function the latch itself. I will try and find some pics or a video to help.

Cool Re: Driver door will not open

Interior door lock is frozen, won't budge my bright idea just loosen up the door prong and push it in to the door and it would have to open going to cut the prong down some. Oh the adventures of lovable junk!
