New member from TN
Hello to all from TN. My truck is a 53 3100 that's been in our family 20+ years. It's currently still in driver status, but we're busy starting improvements. As it is right now, it's a 4.3/350 turbo powertrain with a 79-80? full size chassis underneath. I tried drop springs, etc. but couldn't get the look or performance I'm shooting for, so a complete rebuild is started. Plans include some custom body mods, new chassis (53 chassis smoothed and boxed with the full Scott's Hot Rods treatment, low and mean, 18's and 20's, with a warmed over 5.3/4L60. I've built multiple rods over the years, so hopefully this is the culmination of all that LOL. I'll start a project thread and get up to date as we move forward. Thanks for having me aboard -
