C30 Idler Arm
I need to do some suspension work on my truck and it looks like parts might be more expensive than I had thought. Does anyone know if there are any differences in the idler arm on a 65 C10, 20 or 30? There are 2 that I have found for a C10 - with and without a frame bracket, but no one shows one for a C30.
I know I can swap the whole front end from a 73-87 but I don't want to do that. I have no problem with the front drums and the truck drives great. I just want to replace the idler arm for now. Last edited by 69 C10 LWB; 08-24-2019 at 11:22 PM. |

Re: C30 Idler Arm
Can anyone with a C10 or C20 post a pic of the idler arm and take a couple measurements. I need to know distance center to center on the pivots. This is the one that is on my truck and I want to see what the difference is.

Re: C30 Idler Arm
Does anyone know who makes suspension parts for LMC. Im going to order an idler arm from them and Im curious about the quality. I checked with my local NAPA and Carquest and they both want around $200 just for the idler arm. LMC has one listed for $40. I cant justify spending $200 on something that will only get driven for fun. Hopefully someone has experience with LMC suspension parts.

Re: C30 Idler Arm
Installed my new LMC idler arm today. Seems to be good quality. The new one has grease zerks and the old one didnt. I've got an extra $200 for parts now so Im happy. For anyone else that is looking this one is listed for a 3/4 ton. The few places that list 1 ton parts had the same part number.
