Fuel injector harness

Hey guys hope you can help.
My 97 3500 7.4 Vortec needs a new fuel injection wiring harness. The OEM number that we came up with is 12163080. The problem im running into is that GM says its only $50 ish dollars. Now normally that wouldn't be a problem (Cheaper is mostly better)but when a bolt cost $25 compared to a wiring harness with all the connectors it doesn't seem right. Yes I have called and called AND call Chevy, Gmc, buick and no can answer the question of does all the injector connectors and clips come with it?

Re: Fuel injector harness

When the connectors cost $8-12 each x 8 plus pigtail Im still kind of thinking that this part number is just the pigtail. Who ever heard of a stealership giving money away? Thanks tho.

Re: Fuel injector harness

The description says a lot about the item. It says harness. If it were just the connector, the description would be connector.

The part number 12163080 is the correct part number for the entire harness. It comes assembled with 9 connectors and the 8 clips. MSRP is 85.82

The small connector at the fuel rail is part number 12085491. There are 8 and MSRP is 27.07 each.

The big connector at the fuel rail harness is part number 12125676. MSRP is 121.37.

The dealerships don't make up the prices. They go by what GM tells them to list the part for.

Re: Fuel injector harness

Thank you. You do understand why I was a bit skeptical right? I do appreciate that now I can order one.
