Now I'm PO'd that I didn't buy a 1969 USMC jerry can that I saw at a flea market on Sunday for $15. I keep hoping for a 1971 date to match my Jimmy but maybe I'm being too picky.

I think your 1971 blazer was technically made in 1970. So you should be looking for a 1970 can if you really want to be picky. I just got a NOS 1969 can for $50 at a swap meet. Now I just need to rebuild my tire carrier.

I'm going to send you a set of bump stops for the carrier too. Please let us all know how they are.

He hasn't been on the site since 2015, you will have a better chance on Facebook or ebay.
