WTB - Seat back post

I picked up a early squarebody seat frame and need the post that goes in the side of the bottom frame that the top frame stops and latches to. Anyone have one? It is a lot like the post that the door latch strikes to.

What year truck or seat? Need a pic of the seat, where it tilts mainly. Post a pic of the entire seat too, top and underneath. I can tell you what else to look for, that might need repaired. They are different depending on the year seat.

When I strip these down for restoration, I find broken weld nuts and springs. The end springs on the 73-80 seats are broke all the time. I replace those. I weld the nut back on, but what you said would work too. I can send you the striker bolt, just need the one? Let me know.

If you have a nut I can weld on, yes please. That and the strike bolt.

I don’t have the weld nut, I weld them back to the seat frame. But I do have the bolt. $5 ought to cover it. Just PM me your address
