Re: dearching springs
I had the rear springs de-arched two inches on my 94 c1500 and installed a flip kit. Because of the drop also installed a custom deep frame notch and helper bags over the springs. It rode great and I still hauled all kinds of stuff.

Re: dearching springs
It already has a drop kit , and the helper spring removed , just need a couple more inches , was trying to stay away from a flip .
Not worried about hauling anything in this truck . |

Re: dearching springs
I had a spring shop do it for me.
They got pretty close to what I wanted, but I built in adjustment so I could dial it in perfect. |

Re: dearching springs
I found that the helper bags smoothed out the ride even with only 10-15 psi in them. Plus they allowed ride height adjustment. The bags made that empty truck bed feeling go away. There are to many variables to get spring ride height exact. Even if you had completely new custom ones made. Know I will have to have my new rear leaf packs adjusted for my 4x4 when I get them made.

That's what I figured I could do is dial it in with the rear lowering kit if it was too low !!!! |

I took the truck running to the shop were they took measurements, and brought the springs the next day. It cost $100 dollars if I remember correctly. A friend just took them the whole truck, and it was like $300. They pulled it apart, and reassembled. |
