Yeah I am right below the line, I read all over 15 inch wheels were safe, I’m honestly not worried about it just going to run with 235/75/r15’s, it’s really close to the line just have to be careful

Re: Help please, Rear drop shocks won’t stretch far enough
It's only when there's no tire on the rim that it could dig in to the road surface ( w/a 1.5" block). Just getting a flat w/a tire still on the rim won't let it happen but you have to plan for worst case scenario so OTHERS on the road around you don't get hurt if it happens.

I don't want to hijack the thread but what would you all recommend when determining how long your shocks need to be. How much longer does it need to be and how much shorter at full compression does it need to be? Also how much room would you give the suspension to compress before you make contact with the bump stops.

I've never ran a 'drop' shock that's shorter than what came on a vehicle & opt for relocating brackets instead to allow @ least the factory length shock.

Re: Help please, Rear drop shocks won’t stretch far enough
Now I'm worried forced my shocks on everyone told me with lowered springs rear would be stiffer so now I wander if I have the wrong shocks. I bought it all as a kit

Ride quality is subjective. People that drive around in 2019 vehicles might expect the same ride quality from a 1070 vehicle. That's unlikely. Some people ride around in trucks that bottom out constantly & consider that as the price to pay for "looking cool". It's not. I want my stuff low, safe, w/a decent ride quality, & I don't want things banging/scrubbing on every little bump encountered. I also want to improve the handing as much as possible within the sum of parts swapped/installed. Everybody wants different things. Work from your list of 'wants'.

I had the exact same problem with CPP lowering shocks. I ordered the next size bigger and now they fit fine.

Not sure if this helps your current dilemma, but this posted link http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=444925 seems to have some good information in it. Maybe something in it may help you.
