*Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
Ok...I'm getting tired of being blinded by the headlights of the car behind me. On the hunt for a repop that looks like the original 49 truck mirror but has the Day/Night mirror. Show me what you have.

I've had this one on my Ebay watch list for a long time. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Day-Night-I...53.m1438.l2649
Other vendors have the same one.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to measure mine and try and find one that fits those dimension. Not much driving time left before old man winter hits so it's not something I'll need right away. Maybe the ole boy in Red will bring it.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
I've got a mirror that came out of some donor rig I had in mine I drilled a hole in the piece that glues to the windshield and countersunk it and fastened it to the panel above the windshield with a screw but it looks way too for my build plans now. That is why I have had that mirror saved on Ebay.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
Thanks for the input guys. My mirror measures roughly 2 5/8" X 6 3/4". I am unable to find that size mirror that is a Day/Night mirror. Looks like I my have to get the one that is 2 3/4" X 8 3/4". That's the closest I can find.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
I think the size difference is with the chrome edge around it. I wouldn't get wrapped up in tiny details on that. Those mirrors look like they left the factory in the truck an belong there rather than looking stuck in as an afterthought and that is what counts. If it looks correct enough so that only fellow truck folks pick up on it life is good. Then they will just want to know where you got it.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
I got my new day/night rear view mirror in today. As of right now I don't like the long narrow look. Maybe it will grow on me.

Re: *Day/Night Rear view Mirrow*
After reading this I too decided to ditch my old original corroded interior mirror and order a new one. I wish you guys would quit encouraging me to spend money.
