Panhard bar affect ride height?
My swb 65 c10 sits a little lower on drivers side. It has a static drop of 3/4 with new springs all around. Originally I installed 3" drop in the rear but changed out to 4" as it looked too high. Thing is I noticed the same with either springs, maybe an 1" difference in height between the 2 sides in the back (drivers side lower).
Was wondering if the panhard bar adjustment could affect or cause something like this to happen. The bar is a CPP adjustable, all parts including springs, shocks, and bar were new when installed. Any info or suggestions would b most appreciated. Thanks

Re: Panhard bar affect ride height?
You need to add a 1/4-3/8 spring spacer to driver front, it is common for this to happen, mine was the same way and now its dead level.

Re: Panhard bar affect ride height?
Thanks very much for the info. Could u explain how adding to the driver front will level the driver rear? Any idea why this is a common issue?
Thanks again.

Re: Panhard bar affect ride height?
I can't explain it but it does, mine went up over 1.25" in rear with a 3/8 spacer, I was told buy a guy that worked on the line in the 60's that they had these at their disposal. If a car or truck came down with a lean they woul;d insert a spacer, it is very common for driver side to be sagged , no ideal why.

Re: Panhard bar affect ride height?
I have swapped springs from sis to side also. The springs we get for these trucks seem to vary just a bit. It only takes 10 to 15 pounds per inch on the rates to make a truck sit a bit off in the rear. The back of these trucks are are torsionaly flimsy and it does not take much to make em twist and not sit level.
