Any know now that the front spring rate would be for a 1/2 long box truck that came with a 305 and light duty brakes? or the part number for the front springs.

Stock front coil springs for an 83 1/2 ton, Moog-6452 / TRW-CS6452. If you want Heavy duty springs they are Moog-6454 / TRW-CS6454

With the 454 installed I would use the Heavy duty springs. Stock springs for a 305 will lower it a couple of inches with the 454 in it.
