Well we have a resolution. Dana is sending me a new diff. The tech at ECGS had me send him photos and he said that it would be pretty tough to screw up the spider gears. I explained to him that I had cut down one shaft and he was totally understanding of that and agreed not an uncommon thing. No issue putting a 70hd carrier in a Super 70 housing. Thank you everyone for your input, it was much appreciated. I will definitely be using ECGS in the future, they stand by their product and their customer support was fantastic. They had a new tracking number sent to me before I even forwarded the rest of the photos to them.

Did they say anything about the assy being assembled dry? and how much of the parts needed are they sending you

If you get another dry one, separate the case and soak the clutches in the modifier for at least overnight.
