1963-66 C10 Power Brake Booster

Hello
I was wondering if anyone has used Cardone remanufactured brake booster? I am thinking of getting one. How is the quality of the part?
Thanks
Pete

Re: 1963-66 C10 Power Brake Booster

I have had good luck with Cardone over the years. For power brake conversions I like using the Captnfab bracket sold here on the forum and the later model booster and master cylinder setup.

I dont see that booster fitting unless you have one of these on your firewall. Most people go with captainfabs bracket, use the booster.

Re: 1963-66 C10 Power Brake Booster

I have about 6 clusters ready to put together. I have just been concentrating the last couple of years on building a new shop and working on my collection of projects that seem to be growing faster than my time to work on em. I can put you something together if you need a cluster.

I have and it works well. Very few miles over the few years I've had it. I had the factory setup and just swapped the booster.

So does this bolt up to the firewall or do you still need a bracket

That's the stock one yes. "Hope" it works on the booster you purchase.
