Re: Wich plugs for an hei distributor?

I do think my SBC 350 is liking these R44TS plugs. This morning I put the timing light on and I was surprised I needed to back off the timing from ~16 to 12. After that, even more improvement in how she sounds/feels during idle/test drive.

Granted I have done a few things in the last 3~4 days or so (new Air Cleaner for better airflow, adjusted the secondary's butterfly from being a bit to floppy, plugs and now a timing adjustment). But it has been an progressive improvement since I changed these things one at a time / per day or more.

While I need to see this some more overtime, my warm start up test even greatly improved. After she gets good and warmed up to operating temperature and then after setting ~30 minutes she has been harder to start. Cold or greater than a hour after warm up - bump the key and she starts right up! Though after warmed up then shutting down during a time frame of >15m <1h she has been odd starting. Generally taking ~10 or seconds with giving her some pedal to push through this rough patch. I might have gotten lucky a bit ago and waited to long (it is a bit cooler outside atm).
