1981 k30 axle question

I have a 1981 k30 dually with 454, turbo 400, Dana 60 front and I think a Dana 70 rear axle. I found out that it has 4:56 gears but I wound rather have 3:73’s. Is it possible to put 3:73 gears on the 4:56 carrier? Is there anything else that I’m overlooking? Or am I better off finding a different set of axles? Thanks for any and all help.

Yup, carrier break for both axles is 4.56.

I'd be interested in the axles if for sale
