Broken dipstick

Hey folks,
I went to check my oil Saturday and pulled the dipstick. Much to my surprise only half of it came out. I have never seen that happen before.

Local Chevy dealer says it's too old for them to get the part. Any recommendations on a good source for a driver's side dipstick in a 350?
TIA,

Re: Broken dipstick

Your local speed shop should have one or get one for you.
You may want to drop the pan and get what's left of it out

Can you still read the part number on the dipstick?

Re: Broken dipstick

Sorry for the delay, the truck was in the shop. turns out the PO installed the dipstick tube backwards which is why the dipstick broke. Pan had to be dropped to get everything out.
