New old bed box

I wanted a box to store a jack some oil and other essential items, but i didn't want an over the rail style
Picked up this box Friday of offer up for 30.00 and mounted it today. I used some aluminum square tube to lift it off the floor, but it still sits below the bed Waiting on some caps to cover the tube holes.

Thanks! Another low budget mod. The bed wood is from an old bobtail that was wrecked. I used motor oil and diesel to treat it,

Re: New old bed box

Looks good. That's about as close as we can get to having the "luxurious" extra space for groceries, gear, jackets etc that the modern trucks have avalable inside the cab. I usethe bedrail rail box on mine but I kind of have that "farmer" look going on with the truck anyhow. Sometimes I've thought that it'd look better if I took it off but then I come back to reality remembering how usefull it is.

Yup No real space in our cabs. The old guy in me hates not having the basics: some tools, a jack, jumper cables, oil, antifreeze, and a go bag the "just in case" stuff .
Totaly dig your truck Dave thanks
