1978 upper radiator hose 4.8 swap
I have read that people are using the stock 1999-2006 upper hose for their swap. The radiator side of this hose is 1.25" I.D. and my stock radiator is about 1.5". Are they using a 1.25" - 1.5" reducer or do some radiators have a 1.25" connector?

Re: 1978 upper radiator hose 4.8 swap
I ended up buying a Spectra Premium CU161 radiator off Amazon and the 1999-2006 upper and lower radiator hoses worked perfect. The upper hose connection was stepped 1-1/4" - 1-1/2"
