Adopted another one…
I think I’m done. Man these things multiply! One of my coworkers has owned this ‘66 since 1980. I had been after it for years as he had just let it run down. He finally called me last week. I got it home last night and hope to get it running again soon. He had all 4 original wheels and still had 2 hubcaps. I’ll definitely be on the hunt for another pair of white original caps as I will be putting the original rims back on it. It’s a pretty decent unmolested short bed.

Nice! It has the same droopy right rear box that mine has. Never figured out what causes it, my bed's been off, still looks the same.

The box on this one leveled out once we aired up all the tires and got it on flat ground.

Re: Adopted another one…
I'm guessing you're going to try and keep it original with the original paint?

Re: Adopted another one…
Most likely. I’ll have to see? I will replace the rockers and patch the doors. That hood is pretty bad but it’s straight. I’ve got another hood that’s nice but it’s not blue....it’s got a recently rebuilt inline 6. I’ll see how it runs but most likely I’ll be putting in a 327 that I have.
