Looking for a 5x5 dusk brake conversion
Does anyone know of a disc brake conversion that will fit on a 6 lug spindle? I'm not sure if there's a difference in the spindle or if standard 5 lug conversion discs will work. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

If they are drum brakes it might be easier to just change the spindles. This is what I did with my 65 using 75 year model spindles. If you are from the Bay Area I am happy to help you out and set you in the right direction. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=727826

So they were stock spindles?

Yes they were. I now have 3" drop spindles on it. CPP sells spindles just for the 63 66 chevy trucks so you don't have to use later ball joints. They work with all the 65 components.

Looks like this kit uses the stock, drum brake spindle. https://scarebird.com/index.php?rout...product_id=156
I used a stock height squarebody spindle and squarebody ball joints to add discs to mine. Kept it 6 lug with the aftermarket 6 lug rotor that is offered in a lot of the kits
