To replace or not, rear brake cylinders

I replaced rear brake cylinders, with the front also, in July 2015 when I got truck. The rear shoes were pretty good at the time. Will be replacing brake shoes and not sure if the cylinders should be replaced this time. By the time I get to it, they will almost be 7 years old. Haven't done a complete rear brake job in many years. Thought I may need to go ahead and replace, but wanted opinions.

TIA

Unless they are leaking there is no need. Just keep an eye on them.

Unless you have a spare set in your toolbox or money is no object, that is.

You don’t need to replace the cylinders (maybe), but you should inspect them. Easy to pull them apart in place and check the bore. Use a piece of super fine emery cloth and give them a quick clean.
If you find any excessive pitting you should get new ones.

How old is your rear brake hose?

Take lots of pictures before you start.

I do not know how long since they have been replaced, or if ever. I did not replace the rears in 2015.
